Non-Competitive Collaboration That Fosters Professional Growth, Engergizes & Inspires

As a supportive alliance, the TAC significantly reduces the isolation that spiritual solopreneurs often face, providing an environment where teachers and facilitators can share experiences and grow together in a non-competitive atmosphere. This camaraderie not only fosters professional growth but also energizes and inspires. In terms of marketing, the collective’s approach significantly eases individual financial burdens. By pooling resources, the TAC enables the implementation of high-quality marketing campaigns that would be challenging for an individual teacher to achieve alone. This collective effort leads to greater reach and impact, allowing teachers to focus more on their passion for teaching rather than being bogged down by the intricacies of business logistics. Furthermore, the TAC's model counters the impersonal nature of large online platforms, ensuring that all teachers receive visibility and opportunities for promotion. This approach nurtures deeper connections between teachers and students, providing a more personal and enriching experience. This model is ideal for those dedicated to serving others through teaching/facilitating, offering a sustainable and fulfilling path in the realm of spiritual and personal growth.

  1. Community and Non-Competitive Collaboration:
    • The TAC provides a supportive community, reducing the isolation often felt by solopreneurs. Teachers benefit from collaboration, shared experiences, and camaraderie, which can be energizing and inspiring.
    • This community fosters a non-competitive atmosphere where teachers can grow together, sharing insights and techniques.
  2. Shared Marketing and Reduced Costs:
    • Collective marketing efforts reduce individual financial burdens. Teachers contribute to a shared budget, making high-quality marketing campaigns more attainable.
    • By pooling resources, the TAC can achieve greater reach and impact in marketing than individual teachers might manage alone.
  3. Time and Financial Feasibility:
    • The collective approach accelerates the process of building a thriving business by leveraging shared resources and networks.
    • Teachers can focus more on teaching and less on business logistics, making their practice more sustainable in terms of time and finances.
  4. Focus on Teaching, Not Marketing:
    • The TAC allows teachers to concentrate on what they do best – teaching – while the collective handles much of the marketing and promotional work.
    • This setup is ideal for those who are passionate about teaching but less inclined towards marketing.
  5. Advantages Over Large Online Platforms:
    • Unlike large, impersonal platforms where only a few teachers get significant promotion, the TAC ensures visibility and promotional opportunities for all its members.
    • The collective's model fosters deeper connections between teachers and students, offering a more personal and enriching experience than larger platforms
  6. Inspiration from Successful Models:
    • Drawing inspiration from the creative collective movement and personal training models, TAC provides a proven framework for success.
    • The collective creates an environment similar to high-end training facilities, where benefits include collaboration, ease of operation, and a supportive network.

Organizational Structure

The Tantric Arts Collective (TAC) is founded on a principle of collaboration and shared growth among its members, comprising an alliance of accomplished female Tantric teacher-practitioners. At the heart of TAC's operational ethos is a dual offering structure, allowing for both collaborative and solo teaching opportunities. This structure ensures that each teacher has the freedom and autonomy to conduct their unique classes and workshops, while also engaging in joint projects, workshops and events. A significant feature of our organizational model is the 'Collaborative Wisdom Exchanges', regular knowledge-sharing sessions where teachers bring their unique expertise to the collective, fostering a culture of continual learning and professional development.

Keeping the Collective Size Manageable:

  • Start with 6-8 teachers to maintain a close-knit, collaborative environment. This size is manageable for organizing events and ensures that each teacher can have a significant role in the collective.
  • Financial Commitment: Setting a monthly financial contribution (to be determined) creates a budget for marketing efforts and other collective expenses. It's important to be transparent about how these funds will be used.

Ensuring Fit and Commitment:

  • Selection Process: Have a clear selection process for new teachers/therapists/coaches, including criteria that align with the collective's vision and values. This might involve an application, interview, or even a trial period.
  • Time Commitment for Marketing: Each teacher contributes a certain amount of time towards marketing efforts in addition to their monthly dues. This could include content creation, social media engagement, or other promotional activities. This ensures everyone is invested in the success of the collective.
  • Expectations Agreement: Create a formal agreement or contract outlining the commitments (both financial and time), expectations, and benefits of being part of the collective. This ensures clarity and mutual understanding.

Events Organization

The TAC organizes a range of events, from local classes and workshops to an annual signature event, showcasing the diverse offerings of our teachers. These events serve as major avenues for revenue generation and community engagement. The annual event, in particular, is a highlight that features all our teachers and attracts a wider audience, contributing significantly to the collective's financial health. Additionally, community-building events, either free or donation-based, are organized to grow our audience and foster deeper connections within the community.

Balancing Local and Online Offerings:

  • Offer a mix of in-person events for local students and online events for broader reach. Hybrid events can also be considered to engage both local and non-local students.
  • Schedule these events to maximize engagement and accessibility for all students, regardless of their location.

Annual Signature Event:

  • Plan a significant annual event featuring all teachers in the collective. This multi-day event could include a variety of workshops, classes, and activities, showcasing the collective's diverse offerings.
  • Ticket sales from this event could be a major source of revenue for the collective, helping to fund operations and marketing efforts throughout the year.

Community Building Event:

  • Organize a free or donation-based event to attract new students and grow the TAC mailing list. This event can be an opportunity to introduce the collective's philosophy and offerings to a broader audience.

Marketing & Promotion

Given the diverse nature of our offerings, marketing is a collaborative effort. While teachers are encouraged to promote their individual classes and the collective as a whole, the TAC also undertakes collective marketing initiatives, especially through social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook. The aim is to create a strong, cohesive brand presence that benefits all members of the collective. For more comprehensive marketing campaigns, the collective considers hiring marketing professionals or forming a dedicated marketing committee.

Managing Marketing Efforts:

  • Hire a Marketing Professional: Consider using a portion of the collective funds to hire a part-time marketing professional or social media manager. This person can oversee and coordinate the collective's marketing strategy, including paid ads.
  • Marketing Committee: Alternatively, form a marketing committee within the collective. This could be a rotating role where different teachers take turns leading and organizing marketing efforts each month.

Budget and Marketing Strategy:

  • Budget Planning: Regularly review the marketing budget (ie: $1,500- 2,000/month) to assess its effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop a clear marketing strategy that outlines how the budget will be used (e.g., paid ads, content creation, event promotion). Include both organic and paid strategies.

Financial Structure

Financial sustainability is key to the success of the collective. Teachers contribute monthly dues, which are allocated to various operational needs, including venue rentals for local events and digital platforms for online outreach. The collective adopts a revenue model that allows teachers to retain full profits from their solo classes, while revenue from collaborative workshops is shared between the teachers and the TAC. The collective's financial management is characterized by transparency and regular reviews, ensuring that resources are used effectively and responsibly.

Dues Allocation for Teachers/Therapists/Coaches:

  • In addition to marketing costs, teachers' monthly dues may be partly allocated to cover rental costs for spaces where local collaborative events or workshops are held.
  • For teachers who are not local and focus on online offerings, their dues could contribute towards online platform expenses and digital marketing efforts.

Budgeting and Financial Management:

  • Establish a clear budget for each local event, accounting for venue rental, equipment, and other logistical expenses.
  • Regularly review the financial model to ensure it aligns with the needs of both local and non-local teachers and students.
  • Consider different rates of dues for local vs. non-local teachers, reflecting the benefits and resources each group can access.

Revenue Generation from Events:

  • Explore additional revenue streams such as ticket sales or premium workshops. This can help offset the costs and support the collective’s budget.

Payment Structure for Classes and Workshops:

  • Solo Classes: When a teacher conducts a solo class that’s sponsored by the TAC, they retain 100% of the profits. In exchange, the teacher promotes the TAC during their classes, helping to raise awareness and attract more students to the collective.
  • Collaborative Workshops: For workshops, including those involving multiple teachers, establish a revenue split where a portion goes to the teachers involved and a portion to the TAC. The exact split can be decided based on factors like the number of teachers, the nature of the workshop, and associated costs.

Collaborative Wisdom Exchanges

Part of the unique operational structure of the Tantric Arts Collective is our focus on 'Collaborative Wisdom Exchanges'. These are regular sessions where each of our accomplished Yoginis shares their specialized knowledge and practices with fellow teachers. The aim is to foster a dynamic learning environment and enhance the collective expertise of our community. Key features include:

  • Regularly Scheduled Sessions: We organize these exchanges on a regular basis, ensuring ongoing opportunities for learning and growth.
  • Diverse Topics and Practices: Each session focuses on different aspects of tantric teachings and practices, reflecting the diverse expertise within our collective.
  • Interactive and Supportive Format: These exchanges are designed to be interactive, encouraging active participation, discussion, and feedback.
  • Resource Sharing and Documentation: We document these sessions for future reference, creating a valuable repository of knowledge and teaching tools for our collective.
  • Enhancing Teaching Repertoire: These exchanges enable our teachers to continuously expand their teaching skills and incorporate new insights into their classes, workshops and offerings.
  • Community and Professional Development: Beyond skill enhancement, these sessions reinforce the sense of community among our teachers and contribute to their professional development.

By incorporating Collaborative Wisdom Exchanges into our operational structure, the Tantric Arts Collective not only enriches the teaching and learning experience but also strengthens the bond and collaborative spirit among our teachers.

Adaptability & Growth

The TAC model is built with flexibility at its core, allowing for adjustments and adaptations based on feedback from both teachers and students. This approach ensures that the collective stays responsive to the changing needs of its members and the community it serves.

Transparent Communication:

  • Maintain transparency with teachers about how their dues are used and the collective’s financial health.
  • Clearly communicate the benefits and opportunities available to both local and non-local teachers.

Review and Adjustments:

  • Regularly review the effectiveness of your events and payment structures. Be open to making adjustments based on feedback from teachers and students and the financial health of the collective.
