Healing Trauma Through Body, Breath & Awareness

Welcome to this powerful meditation for tapping into the innate healing wisdom of the body, breath, and awareness. This somatic meditation has it’s foundation in classical tantric practices of knowing through direct experience in the body. This is different than the conceptual knowing of the thinking mind because it’s an embodied experience of knowing that allows for the possibility of immediate healing and transformation of trauma, wounding and unresolved experiences. This practice is one that you can, and likely will need to do on a regular basis – maybe a few times a week, at first… and then later, you can return to it whenever you have the sense or feeling that you have unprocessed or undigested events that need to be tended to. I’ll lead you slowly through this practice, which is necessary when you’re first learning it… but as you become familiar with it, you’ll be able to do it on your own, at your own pace… which may be a bit quicker at times, and much slower at other times, depending on the intensity of the events you’re working with.
