In this video, I clarify what the term 'awakening' means and where the concept originally comes from. I also discuss the relationship between awakening and liberation and why you can be awakened and still be a jerk.
Awakening isn't an event, as many people like to believe. Rather, it's a process that continues over time. Awakening is a necessary step to and is indeed a prerequisite for, liberation. It's available to everyone, and there aren't a standard set of 'symptoms' .... again, as many of the videos and articles you find online seem to say there are.
